I'm a Seattle-based local journalist with a strong background covering state and local politics. I'm a currently a senior at the University of Washington, studying journalism and public interest communication with a minor in business administration. I was awarded the 2026 UW Journalism Public Interest Communication Student Journalist of the Year and the 2025 JPIC Pioneer Award for Legislative Journalism. 

As a first-generation Filipina-American, I understand first-hand what it means to have stories and experiences underrepresented in mainstream media. My work is driven by a passion for holding powerful institutions accountable while amplifying the voices of underserved communities. Whether breaking down public policy to highlighting the experiences of farmworkers, I'm eager to tell impactful, inclusive, and community-centered stories.
